Q*bert

CATALOG DESCRIPTION
Q-Bert is a comical character who hops across a pyramid-shaped block formation. As he hops, he changes teh colour of the block-top. The object of Q-Bert is to change all the block-tops to the specified colour for that game level. While hopping, Q-Bert must avoid coloured balls which fall from the top, and enemies SLICK and SAM which appear at the bottom and "fall" up and across the blocks. Most of all, Q-Bert must beware of "Coilly" the snake, who bounces down the blocks as a purple ball then hatches to chase Q-Bert. Q-Bert can escape any of these enemies by leaping from the pyramid to a whirling escape disc which lifts him out of danger to the top of the pyramid.

BOX DESCRIPTION
Q*bert springs to life with all the adventure of the popular arcade game!
Colorful graphics and arcade-like sounds accompany the game's lively action. Hop Q*bert up and down the steps of a "three-dimensional" pyramid, changing each step's color as he lands. Complete the entire pyramid, and !*bert moves to a more challenging pyramid.
But look out! The crafy arcade creatures are here, too, and they're after Q*bert. Hop out of danger fast -- or soar to safety on a Flying Disc. But watch where you move Q*bert. One hop off the pyramid, and he'll be lost in space!
Q*bert--the lovable arcade character in his lively action and adventure game.
